The different types of code

To be clear, 1d codes are linear , that is, those composed of a sequence of black bars and spaces that surmount a series of numbers, the first 3 identify the country of origin of the product, the following 4 indicate the address of the manufacturer or supplier, the other 5 refer to the item itself indicating the type of product, the weight and the packaging, and finally the last number which is added only to facilitate reading the barcode.
